StowTown Records Announces Upcoming Digital Release From Paid In Full With New Single “Too Much”

Nashville, TN (June 25, 2021) – In honor of their 30th anniversary, the vocal group Paid In Full has joined forces with StowTown Records to release a brand new digital recording. 30th Anniversary marks the group’s debut digital recording under the StowTown label. This commemorative collection will feature 26 favorites released for the first time digitally, as well as four brand new songs arranged by multi-award winning producer, Wayne Haun. Today, their first radio single, “Too Much” is available at all digital music outlets.

Longtime friends Lance Moore, Bradley Littlejohn and Jeff Crews, collectively known as Paid In Full, originally organized in 1991. Just a few short years after beginning, their second record captured the ear of the late gospel music legend, Jake Hess, who began mentoring the trio. The multi-Grammy winner and Gospel Music Hall of Fame member even made a guest appearance on the trio’s 1998 recording, In All I Do. Over the years, Paid In Full has enjoyed hit radio releases and appearances on large and small stages nationwide.

Among the collection of songs included on 30th Anniversary, listeners will find popular radio hits like “What The Storm Did Not Know,” “Sailing Toward Home” and “I Could Sing About Heaven.” Three previously released songs featuring guest artists are included as well: “When My Master Walks With Me” features Jake Hess; “My Soul Is Firmly Anchored” features Gene McDonald; and “It Won’t Be Long” features Duane Allen of the Oak Ridge Boys.

Like most recording artists, Paid In Full has experienced their share of changes and even a recording hiatus through the years. With this new digital release, all three members are thrilled to have the opportunity to present new music, as well as reintroduce audiences to songs that continue to offer an eternal message. “It’s so good to be back together singing and having so much fun,” states Jeff Crews. “We have no blood relation, but we are brothers who learned to sing harmony together.”

“Singing with Paid In Full has been a great joy in my life,” group member Bradley Littlejohn relates. “This chapter in our story is one I look forward to sharing as well.” Group member Lance Moore adds, “We are so excited to see what God has in store with this StowTown collaboration.”

“I’ve known Bradley, Lance and Jeff for quite some time. They are great guys who have a tremendous work ethic and a true desire to present quality music that touches the hearts of listeners. Their smooth harmonies are incredible, and it is a privilege for our company to have the opportunity to offer their music to new audiences worldwide,” states StowTown President Landon Beene.

With 30th Anniversary, Paid In Full celebrates three decades of delivering listeners rich harmonies that will continue to be enjoyed by audiences of all ages from all walks of life.

Distributed exclusively by Provident/Sony, 30th Anniversary will be available on digital platforms worldwide on August 13, 2021. Download or stream “Too Much,” HERE.

Pastor Jonathan Stockstill Invites Readers To Meet ‘The Real Jesus’ In New Book Releasing May 4

Pastor Jonathan Stockstill Invites Readers To Meet ‘The Real Jesus’ In New Book Releasing May 4

ORLANDO, Fla.— God wants to talk to humanity. He wants to talk directly to each person. Instead of yelling at people from the mountaintops, He wrapped what He wanted to say up in His son, Jesus, and sent Him to earth.

unnamed-9The Real Jesus: Challenging What You Know About the Greatest Person Who Ever Lived releases tomorrow, May 4. Lead Pastor of Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, La., Beloved Worship Leader, and Debut Author Jonathan Stockstill invites readers to discover the Jesus they may never have truly known—even if they have been following Him for years. He poses the questions: “Which Jesus do you follow?” “What did He teach?” And, perhaps just as important, “What do you believe about Him?” Watch a message from Jonathan about The Real Jesus here.

Saying Jonathan grew up in a Christian home would be an understatement. His dad, grandfathers on both sides, and many close family friends were pastors. He faithfully attended Sunday school and was in church every time the doors opened.

It didn’t occur to him until much later in life that all his Bible lessons and training were pointing him to the central figure of Christianity. From Genesis to Revelation, Jesus was the focus of the whole thing. “I can’t say I had an ‘aha’ moment when this became clear,” writes Jonathan in The Real Jesus. “It was a progressive understanding. I could ride the coattails of my dad’s and grandfathers’ faith for only so long. My big struggle was to own my biblical training for myself. Christianity, I realized, was all about Jesus – who He is, what He did, what He taught, and how that matters to me.”

Says author, founder and director of Pastors University, Larry Stockstill, “I watched my son Jonathan as he really entered discipleship as a teenager. At thirty he entered a whole new phase of leadership as he and Angie became the lead pastors of Bethany Church. Now, almost ten years later, he is ready to share the new-generation values he has curated in his first forty years of life.”

In each chapter of the five-part book focusing on the nature and character of Jesus, Jonathan encourages readers to think deeply about Jesus and how to relate to Him, asking them not to settle for a cursory glance or a superficial understanding, but to look into the heart of Christ and see: “Grace and life. Forgiveness of sin. The defeat of death. This is the hope He gives. This is the hope we need.”

With a pastoral heart and a storyteller’s gift, Jonathan guides readers to an understanding that, “Most of us think Jesus came and introduced the world to the religion of Christianity. But He actually never preached on the subject of Christianity. He preached about the kingdom of God. While the people of His day were focused on earthly governments, Jesus spoke of a heavenly one. If you study the Gospels, you’ll find this was Jesus’ main message. It was His disciples’ main message too. They didn’t preach the religion of Christianity; they preached the kingdom of God.”

Jonathan has written The Real Jesus with takeaways for readers including:

Understanding the difference between the mistaken, miscast, misinterpreted Jesus of our culture and the blood-and-bones Jesus of the Bible
Discovering a Jesus we may never have truly known—even if we have been following Him for years or decades
Entering into a more raw, real, and relevant relationship with the One who loves us and calls us by name

In The Real Jesus, Jonathan’s mission is to equip readers to see Jesus as He really is and truly understand what it means to be His disciple. The book can be a tool for personal discipleship and in discipleship groups. At the end of each chapter, Jonathan has included a “Make It Real” series of questions to engage readers with the content of the chapter.

“If you’re hungry for the truth, this book is for you,” says Jonathan. “It’s for seekers wanting to know just who Jesus Christ is. It’s for those unsure of what it means to follow Jesus and in need of a guide to become serious disciples. And it’s for those who have settled into religious routine and want to deepen their understanding of Jesus and experience more of His presence.”

Tiffany Coburn Declares a Message of Hope with You Are More

Tiffany Coburn Declares a Message of Hope with You Are More

Nashville, TN (April 30, 2021) – StowTown Records is thrilled to announce the release of Tiffany Coburn’s sophomore solo project, You Are More. As an artist who is celebrated for her powerhouse vocals that soar high above the music and linger after the cutoff, it would be easy for Tiffany to record big numbers that merely serve to showcase her vocal prowess. Instead, she chose songs based on their timely message of unwavering hope; songs to which she can personally relate. With all-new songs written by some of gospel music’s top songwriters, You Are More is a poignant, relevant example of what it means to persevere.

Widely known as a member of the acclaimed acapella group, Voctave, and longtime performer with Disney’s Voices of Liberty, Tiffany is beyond excited to share her latest solo endeavor with the world. She explains, “I am so happy to be releasing these songs during spring. We’ve all walked through a global pandemic and for those of us who are here – it is for a purpose. We are awakening, stepping out into His grace, laughing, working, living, and connecting with others once again.” Themes of grace weave an exquisite tapestry throughout each song on the project, highlighting that we are all made in the likeness of God and are able to receive love and forgiveness no matter who we are, where we are, or what we have done.

The title track, written by Wayne Haun and Joel Lindsey, is a beautiful reminder to everyone that they matter. The lyrics relay the message that people of “every shape” and “every shade” are “wonderfully made.” “You Are More” could not have come at better time. This song is a heartfelt, soul-stirring anthem of encouragement.

Roll Back River,” the first radio single from the project, has hit the airwaves on major radio stations across the country. “When I Let It Go,” written by Haun, Lindsey, Carolyn Cross and Val Dacus, is a hauntingly beautiful masterpiece that speaks of grace coming through total surrender. To close out this album of incredible new songs, Coburn sings a lovely rendition of the classic, “Seasons of the Soul.” It perfectly sums up the state of hopefulness and spring that Tiffany wishes to convey.

A Front Row View With The Erwins

A Front Row View With The Erwins

Great things are happening for Gospel music’s popular group, The Erwins! The Dove winning, GRAMMY® nominees are set to release their new studio recording, THIS IS LOVE, on April 9, 2021. The ThisIsLove_TheErwins_3335x3000_Digipak_300dpi-2eight-song collection highlights the siblings’ signature, crowd appealing sound and provides rich lyrical content to uplift the spirit! The young StowTown recording artists from Texas are ecstatic to hit the road with new music in hand.

Choosing songs with the Gospel message is Keith, Kody, Kris and Katie Erwin’s top priority. The young adults are wise beyond their years when evaluating the theological weight of songs. Growing up on the road with Christian evangelist parents has something to do with that! Kris comments, “We are thankful for our upbringing and the discernment that was instilled in us at a young age. It is an honor we don’t take for granted.”

The Erwins musical style could be described as a melting pot of many musical influences. The result is a distinctive Erwins flair that includes Group Shot-2tight family harmonies with a fun pop of personality. Their originality definitely transcends genre and stylistic boundaries. Kris says, “Music is a tool we use to spread the Gospel and the message of hope, but I don’t want to limit ourselves and our effectiveness by certain styles—especially when we are young enough to be passionate about all different styles of Gospel music.”

The song “This Is Love,” is a family favorite because The Erwins had their hands in the writing process. The Erwins found themselves on a cruise ship with a few hours between concerts. The siblings brought their ideas, and a guitar into a vacant conference room and were joined by award-winning songwriters, Kenna West and Sue C. Smith.  Katie shares, “This was Keith, Kody and my first time to ever write in our entire lives! For me, it was something I had always wanted to do. Kenna came up with the song idea first and we all took it and ran with it. It was an awesome experience to watch the song come to life!”

Kris adds, “Kenna and I wrote “Watch and See” from our last album and as soon as we released that project I knew it was just a matter of time before my siblings and I would be in a writing room together. I had no idea it would end up being in the middle of the Caribbean. It was a special memory I will never forget.”

The debut single, “The God I Know,” will hit radio with the album’s release. The message of God’s power and peace is timed well following a challenging year that included a Global Pandemic!

COVID-19 shutdowns affected The Erwins’ ministry like everyone else’s, but Kris and Katie realize more than ever that what they do is not about a music career; it is about being faithful to God’s call. Katie says, “It definitely made me more excited more than ever to get on the bus with my family. I’ve realized how special our bond— our connection is! Sitting home all of those weeks made me truly miss it. I look forward to being on the road full-force every weekend singing with my family. This is my calling, and I truly love it.” Kris admits he enjoyed the first few months of quarantine because of his “home-body” personality, but soon missed fulfilling his call as well.

God is blessing The Erwins and they are grateful! The Erwins earned Grammy Nom Cover-Erwins (2019) - What Christmas Really Meansa Dove for Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year in 2020 for “The Power Of An Empty Tomb,” and received a 2021 GRAMMY® nomination for Best Roots Gospel Album. Kris says, “We’re humbled to see God open these doors for us. We started out singing three or four songs every night before our father preached at church revivals all across the country. So our goal was always only to share the Gospel and encourage the saints. The fact all these things are happening is really just icing on the cake.”

The Erwins will celebrate the release of THIS IS LOVE on April 16 in Canton, Texas. “We are going to make that our release party,” Katie explains “We will film it with a live audience and will sing all of the new songs, along with some from previous projects.” The Erwins plan to share this concert and will announce the air date and time.

The Erwins are always ready to share encouragement. When asked to offer a word to afrontrowview.com readers Kris responds: “So many things in life seem out of our control. The year 2020 has shown how fragile life as we know it can be. The crazier things seem around us— the more it seems we’re going to sink or go under, that is exactly what emphasizes the hope and comfort we have in Christ.”

Katie adds, “Nahum 1:3b says, ‘The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.’ When you look up in the sky and see these huge massive clouds— it shows you how powerful God is! If the clouds are just dust at His feet, imagine how able and powerful He is to reach down and supply every single one of our needs. He has everything under control and is just a single prayer away.”

Great things are happening with The Erwins! It is refreshing to see young adults serving the Lord with excellence, integrity and enthusiasm! Stay up to date on The Erwins’ ministry on all social media platforms and at https://erwinministries.com.

ABOUT THIS IS LOVE

THIS IS LOVE drops April 9. The album includes songs written by some of the best writers in Gospel Music—Wayne Haun, Sue C. Smith, Kenna West, Tony Wood, Dixie Phillips, Kevin Winebarger, Joseph Habedank and more. This StowTown recording was produced and arranged by Wayne Haun.

Katie’s favorite song is “When My Scars Touch Yours.” Katie explains, “I love Kris’ vocal on this. It is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. It is a gorgeous song and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

“Mountain In the Sea,” (Habedank, Haun) includes ocean sound effects. Kris comments, “It’s songs like this and the way the production turned out that will present a different sound than we’ve ever had before. I think Wayne {Haun} has done a great job layering our musical influences and honing in on a definite Erwins style.”

The project’s theme is inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:13: “And now these three remain; faith, hope and love. But the greater of these is love.” The collection also has a song for everyone to enjoy. Some are upbeat—bluesy, progressive, modern-pop country and others are worshipful, but all encourage the listener and glorify God. THIS IS LOVE will be available on all digital platforms starting April 9; pre-order Cd’s here.

I will never forget sitting with him at Chuy’s in Nashville a little over seven years ago listening to his incredible testimony. He was just beginning his solo career, and he shared openly and passionately about what he wanted his ministry to speak to and how he wanted to share his journey with his audience. I said to him, ‘never be afraid to be who you are, keep it real, and share your heart openly. This world needs to hear from you.’ Now, seven years later, I have had the privilege to watch that take place with such grace, wisdom, and care. This new project, Change Is Coming, will be a career album for Joseph. It’s the record he was destined to make.
