American Prodigal Earns Crowder Third GRAMMY® Nomination

Nashville, Tenn. (Dec. 6, 2016) – Crowder’s newest recording, American Prodigal, has garnered a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. The recognition marks the third consecutive GRAMMY® nod for Crowder following honors from his first solo album, Neon Steeple. The Recording Academy will present the 59th GRAMMY® Awards on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, live from Staples Center in Los Angeles and broadcast on the CBS Television Network from 8–11:30 pm ET/5–8:30 pm PT.

American Prodigal (Sept. 23 2016) hit No. 1 on the Christian & Gospel Albums Chart, No. 3 on the Digital Albums Chart, No. 5 on the Top Albums Billboard Chart and No. 12 on the Top 200 Billboard Chart. In support of his newest release, Crowder kicked off the “American Prodigal Tour” in the fall featuring Tedashii and The New Respects, followed by a Winter Jam west coast tour and Crowder serving as headliner on the K-LOVE Christmas Tour.
